have selected “Glimpses of India” as my English project. This project helps me to know about the culture, traditions and natural beauty of different parts of India. In this project, I have collected information about Goan Bakers, Coorg and Tea from Assam. 10th FA2-English Poject Work (1)
1. Importance of Goan Bakers
Goan bakers are popularly known as “paders.” They are an important part of Goan culture. Their tradition started during the Portuguese period, when bread became an important food in Goan homes.
The bakers used to wake up early in the morning and prepare fresh bread. They would then go from house to house and deliver the bread. Even today, this traditional practice can be seen in many parts of Goa. 10th FA2-English Poject Work (1)
